Highlights & Technologies:

MIPS AIR NODE:
When a head rotates quickly and comes to a sudden stop, the rotational acceleration may cause the brain tissue to experience high levels of strain. This stretching of the tissue caused by these motions may result in various types of brain injury. MIPS is designed with the intent to address rotational acceleration from impact.

The MIPS AIR NODE system is a low-friction layer laminated to the base of the comfort padding. It is connected to the energy-absorbing helmet lining with Velcro fasteners. In the event of oblique impacts, the "nodes" are designed to release locally so that the padding can slide and the rotational movement of the head can be reduced. The Mips Air Node system ensures movement inside the helmet to reduce the rotational movement of the head in the event of an impact at a certain angle and thus reduce the risk of injury. The system remains fixed until movement is required, as it is only released on impact. The Mips Air Node padding can of course be removed, washed by hand and dried at room temperature.

HEAD GUARD:
This is a strategic reinforcement where it is most important. The shock absorption system from iXS is integrated directly into the EPS foam and thus increases the impact and tensile strength. It was developed to withstand even the hardest impacts. At the same time, it distributes the energy of smaller impacts over a larger area and offers even more protection in crash scenarios.

INMOULD:
In this construction, the robust polycarbonate outer shell is bonded to the impact-absorbing EPS inner shell in a single operation during the foaming process. This makes the helmet even more resistant without adding weight. This production process also makes it possible to shape significantly better ventilation systems and vents. Inmold helmets are therefore lighter than traditional helmets and have significantly better ventilation systems.

360° ERGOFIT RETENTION SYSTEM:
This clever adjustment system completely encloses the head and ensures that the helmet fits securely and comfortably so that it remains in position even in the event of impacts. The micro-dial at the back of the head is responsible for millimetre-precise adjustment of the width, while the height can be adjusted in three stages. In addition, the pleasant EVA padding ensures a high level of comfort.

FIDLOCK SNAP:
User-friendly closure system that combines the advantages of a magnetic buckle with those of a traditional fastener. The magnetic fastener can also be operated with one hand.
