The RT-MT800 brake disc with Centrelock magnetic lockring is specially designed for e-bikes with a STEPS drive system for use on the rear wheel with the SHIMANO EW-SS302 speed sensor. For the front wheel, the corresponding RT-MT800 brake rotor without magnet can be used for the disc brake.
Even in harsh conditions and with an aggressive riding style, you can rely on the braking performance of the RT-MT800 disc rotor from the SHIMANO EP8 series. The ICE-TECH FREEZA technology provides faster heat dissipation on long descents and thus more fading resistance as well as improved braking performance. The sandwich construction with an aluminium core between two stainless steel layers effectively dissipates heat via the integrated cooling fins.
