The Performance Line version of the Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyre also comes as a clincher tyre for the classic use with an inner tube.

With its profile, the practically legendary Schwalbe Nobby Nic has long offered a wide range of applications for MTB riders, and that at a relatively low weight.
The tyre has also received an improved profile from Schwalbe, which really lives up to its name.
The optimised, elliptical arranged centre blocks ensure excellent propulsion and braking traction, while stable shoulder blocks round out the profile. Schwalbe has also improved the self-cleaning properties of the tyre through larger spaces between the knobs.

Whether its being used for Cross-Country, on Marathon or All-Mountain tours, or for fun, flowing trails – this tyre is a true all-rounder. Its balanced profile creates a perfect combination of control, grip, braking performance and self-cleaning properties.

The proven ADDIX rubber compound rounds out the specs.

Eigentlich hat der Reifen im Netz gute Kritiken und ich war auch von der gelieferten Ware und nach der Montage sehr zufrieden.
Leider kann ich hier keine Bilder laden um mein Reifenschaden nach grade mal 80 gefahrene km zu zeigen. Ein 20mm , quer zur Lauffläche klaffender , ich würde sagen wie Messerschitt , durch die Lauffläche durch bis in den Schlauch. Der Luftverlust war am Bein zu spüren. Es war die erst Ausfahrt mit dieser Bereifung. Da ich gerne mit mein MTB abseits der Strecke fahre habe ich schon einige Reifenpannen erlebt aber so etwas noch nicht.

Grip ist sehr gut. Montage war etwas knifflig, hat dann aber mit Hilfe eines Kompressors doch geklappt. Vorher lief der Reifen etwas unrund.
Leider fährt sich das Profil relativ schnell ab. Nach nicht einmal einem Jahr sind viele der Stollen fast komplett abgefahren.
