In our stores and shop-in-shop partners, you can drop by at any time without an appointment for a consultation and test ride. The size of the test fleet varies depending on the store size.
If you are short on time, we recommend booking an appointment for a bike consultation to avoid waiting times.

During the bike season, you can also find us at trade fairs and events. There you can test our bikes and get advice on site.

Not every bike is available in every specification and size in all stores. However, the selection covers a representative range of our product range. Our teams will advise you on size, geometry and specification and help you to find the right bike.
You’re welcome to pop in at any time for a consultation or a test ride – no appointment needed. There may be waiting times, particularly at weekends in spring and summer. If you’re short on time, book a time slot in the Priority Lane (Mon–Fri at noon) to avoid the queue.
The team on site will let you know where and for how long you can test ride the bike of your choice. Usually, test rides are possible in the immediate vicinity. We do not offer a hire service for longer trips. For detailed tests, visit our TestFests or the Shimano Test Centre.
You’ll need your identity card for the test ride. For safety reasons, we recommend that you bring a helmet.
We can’t order the bike you’d like to test ride into the store. However, in-store you’ll find a wide selection of test bikes, so you can work with the staff to find the right size and model.
Our test bikes are fitted with flat pedals so that you can try them out in normal street shoes. It is not possible to switch to clipless pedals or your own pedals.
