While developing the GRX FC-RX810 crankset, SHIMANO’s developers have paid particular attention to the needs of modern cross, gravel and commuter bikes. Thus, the crankset for 2x11 speed drivetrains combines a 31-tooth chainring with a 48-tooth chainring – for a wider range of gears. A 2.5mm wider chainline compared to “traditional” SHIMANO road cranks provides space for large-volume tyres.

Sehr gute Kurbelgarnitur! Das große Kettenblatt musste ich erst nach 11000 km wechseln, wobei ich damit eine 1400 km lange Radtour von der Ostsee ans Mittelmeer gemacht habe. Sehr zu empfehlen - hält, was sie verspricht! Sehr leicht, gute Schaltperformance bei langlebiger Haltbarkeit.

Die GRX 810-Kurbel hat bei meinem Gravelbike die 105er-Kurbel ersetzt und arbeitet problemlos mit dem 105er-Umwerfer zusammen, was Alpenanstiege deutlich erleichtert. Noch besser wäre für mich die Übersetzung aber, wenn das kleine Kettenblatt statt 31 Zähnen nur 30 Zähne hätte, wie bei der GRX 600.

Mit 80 U/min entspannter und länger mit 31 Zähnen bergauf, wiegt die geringere Endgeschwindigkeit mit 48 Zähnen bergrunter weitestgehend auf. Gewohnte Shimano Qualität, für Schotter, Kies und Straße. Arbeitet auch mit dem fummelig einzustellenden Ultegra-Umwerfer problemlos zusammen. Mit für Coraona-Zeiten räsonabler Lieferzeit. Danke Rose!

Ich wollte meinen Alu-Renner mit einer Berg- und Alltagstauglichen Schaltung ausstatten. Da habe ich mich für die GRX 800 mit 2x11 entschieden. Die Kurbel passt wunderbar, lässt sich mit dem FD-810 gut schalten und als Lager habe ich das SM-BB92-41 eingebaut. Das Ultegra Lager hätte es vielleicht auch getan, aber ich wollte da keine Kompromisse eingehen. Da hinten nicht mehr als 34 Zähne drin sind, braucht man für kleinere Gänge am Berg ein kleines Kettenblatt. Die 48-31 Kurbel ist für mich eine sehr gute Wahl. Die 46/30 Kurbel ist für die unterste Position des Umwerfers schon zu klein und man möchte ja auch noch einigermaßen schnell fahren können.
