The SHIMANO Altus RD-M310-Smart 7-/8-speed rear derailleur is a reliable and robust rear derailleur for hybrid bikes, city bikes, mountain bikes and everyday bikes fitted with 7- and 8-speed shifting. 
The SmartCage version with a medium-length cage offers a balanced combination of shifting precision, high chain capacity and a compact design, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.

Double-servo technology ensures precise movement of the rear derailleur and delivers smooth shifting performance. The robust design is built for everyday use and offers high durability with minimal maintenance.

The compact SmartCage rear derailleur is particularly suitable for bikes with a medium gear range and is an ideal replacement or upgrade solution for classic SHIMANO MTB and hybrid drivetrains. Fitting to standard derailleur hangers allows for easy installation on a wide range of bicycle models.
