The new Rival XPLR AXS

13-speed with 10-46T gear range – Precise shifting with small increments between the sprockets that keep you in the optimum gear range. The full-mount rear derailleur, which fits seamlessly on the Backroad FF frame with UDH interface, ensures that this system can handle anything you throw at it. Thanks to genuine one-finger brakes, the Rival XPLR AXS flies up and down any trail and propels you forward at full power.

Stable gravel wheels and race gravel tyres

You will find robust ROSE G30 LIGHT gravel wheels on this model: With weight-optimised aluminium rims, high-quality Newmen hubs and sturdy Sapim spokes. The wide inner rim width of 25 mm increases the tyre volume and, in combination with the 40 mm wide Schwalbe G-One R tyre, ensures control off-road, even at high speeds.

The Backroad FF stands for performance off the tarmac. Aerodynamics, comfort and catering were the top priorities during development – so that you can give your all in the race against yourself or others. Highlights of the Gravel-Race model platform

This category applies to bicycles and e-bikes* that meet the conditions of category 1 and are ridden on normal roads as well as in category 2 on unpaved roads and gravel paths with moderate inclines and descents. The tyres are in constant contact with the ground at average speed and they are only occasionally ridden over steps and drops of less than 15 cm. These conditions can lead to contact with uneven terrain and the tyre repeatedly losing contact with the ground. The intended use is, for example, recreational riding. You don’t require any special riding skills.
