For the first time, the Finnish manufacturer uses a high-resolution AMOLED touch display and a "Digital Crown" that offers unprecedented ease of use when scrolling through functions.
With more than 95 customisable sport modes, 24/7 heart rate, fitness and sleep tracking as well as extensive training and analysis functions, the Suunto Race also presents itself as a true multisport watch. In addition to the Suunto App for smartphones, over 50 Suunto Plus Apps and more than 200 partner apps offer additional customisation options of the high-performance smartwatch. What’s more, you can rely on the sophisticated sensor technology with altimeter, barometer and compass in every situation.

However, intense and exciting outdoor experiences also belong to Suunto Race’s sports watch repertoire. Rely on detailed offline maps and route navigation right on your wrist. Get precise locations even in difficult conditions, thanks to dual-band satellite reception. Despite the bright AMOLED display, you can enjoy the freedom of up to 50 hours of GPS tracking on a single battery charge – even up to 200 hours in expedition mode.

Just like the outdoor watch Vertical, Suunto uses a large 49 mm housing for the Race. However, at 1.43" inches, the high-resolution AMOLED display is slightly larger than the Vertical's 1.4" LED display. In addition to the touch display, three or two control buttons (the rotating "Digital Crown" also is the third control button) facilitate control in demanding situations. The fibreglass reinforced housing with stainless steel bezel and sapphire glass display of the high-end smartwatch is tested to military standards and won't let you down, even during tough use.

Track your performance in Training Zone on the Suunto app or in third-party coaching tools such as TrainingPeaks.

PLAN AND ANALYSE WITH THE SUUNTO APP
Use the Suunto smartphone app to prepare your trips and analyse your sporting performance. Share activities with friends and the community or connect your watch to third-party services like Strava, Komoot or TrainingPeaks. Plan routes using 3D maps, heatmaps and road surface information. In the Training Zone you can find your training load, recovery metrics, progress summaries and receive AI-based guidance from the Suunto Coach. What’s more, you can create your own workout to get real-time guidance from your watch.

MAPS YOU CAN COUNT ON
Suunto Race's intuitive maps tell you everything you need to know about the terrain. Contour lines, waters, paths and other important landmarks are available in three different map styles. The free maps can be downloaded on the watch via the Suunto smartphone app and used together with the navigation functions such as turn-by-turn routing in offline mode.
