Maxxis HighRoad SL [Gen.2] TR K2 HYPR-S Folding Road Tyre

The MAXXIS HighRoad SL [Gen.2] TR is a road tyre trimmed for speed and racing use. The tubeless-ready version of the HighRoad SL [Gen.2] TR is designed for tubeless use. A carbon-based bead core is used to hold the tyre securely on the rim. 

Compared to the predecessor model, the HighRoad SL [Gen.2] TR promises even lower rolling resistance, reduced weight and increased puncture protection.

This makes the HighRoad SL [Gen.2] TR particularly suitable for performance-orientated race set-ups and fast training laps on the road.


Technologies:

• K2
K2 is a lightweight and tightly woven protective layer from MAXXIS based on aramid fibres with high puncture and cut resistance. The material promises increased puncture protection, while affecting the properties of the tyre construction as little as possible.

• HYPR-S Compound
HYPR-S is based on the HYPR rubber compound from MAXXIS and is designed for performance-orientated racing use. Compared to the HYPR compound, the rolling resistance was even further reduced, while the traction-orientated set-up is retained.

• TUBELESS READY [TR]
In the MAXXIS range, Tubeless Ready [TR] refers to tyres with a construction that is designed for tubeless use with a sealant, a compatible tubeless rim or matching rim tape. The system enables lower air pressures and is intended to improve traction and ride quality, while reducing the rolling resistance. In addition, minor damages can be sealed directly by the sealant, which reduces the risk of breakdowns.
