Garmin Tacx® NEO 2T Smart Roller Trainer incl. Zwift Cog and Click

The Tacx NEO 2T Smart combines a realistic riding feel with precise power measurement and particularly quiet operation. In this version, the direct-drive trainer is already equipped with the Zwift Cog. The matching Zwift Click controller is also included.

The pre-installed Zwift Cog replaces a classic cassette and is compatible with almost all bicycles with an 8- to 13-speed drivetrain. Using Zwift Click, you change gears virtually on the handlebars, while the chain remains on the single sprocket of the Cog. Virtual shifting is supported by Zwift and ROUVY. In Zwift, you can also use the controller to steer, navigate menus and give Ride Ons.

Newly designed magnets reduce vibrations and the associated noise generation. As a result, the NEO 2T operates particularly quietly, even at low cadences. Only the drivetrain noise of your bicycle remains audible.

The motor design ensures high resistance during climbs, sprints and at low speeds, as well as rapid reactions to changes in speed or incline. Dynamic inertia takes weight, speed and gradient angle into account to replicate the riding feel as realistically as possible.

The NEO 2T measures speed, cadence and power with an accuracy of up to 1 per cent. Capacitive sensors also detect the left and right pedal stroke separately. The data can be analysed via the Tacx Training app or compatible devices and applications, for example via the Cycling Dynamics of a GARMIN Edge cycle computer. For virtual races and group rides, the trainer also offers a race mode with accelerated data transmission.

The trainer is compatible with 130 and 135 mm wide rear dropouts with quick release as well as 12 x 142 and 12 x 148 mm thru-axles. When using a thru-axle, the bicycle's axle is used together with the appropriate adapters on the trainer. The NEO 2T can be connected to compatible apps, cycle computers and other devices via ANT+ and Bluetooth. This allows you to complete training programmes, ride routes and analyse your performance data. A coloured floor light indicates your power output, while separate status LEDs provide information on the power supply as well as the ANT+ and Bluetooth connection.

The NEO 2T can also be used without an external power supply. In standalone mode, the trainer simulates a flat road and adjusts the resistance to your speed. A power supply is required for descent simulation. Firmware updates can be transferred to the trainer via the Tacx Training app.
