Cane Creek Thudbuster ST G4 Suspension Seatpost

Broken roads, potholes, roots or cobblestones can give you a real shaking on your bike. That’s where the Thudbuster ST suspension seatpost from Cane Creek helps.

Also in the 4th. generation, the parallel linkage continues to be at the core of this proven seatpost with 50 mm travel. Athletic city and hybrid cyclists, as well as touring mountain or gravel bikers, will benefit from the suspension on uneven stretches.

The level of shock and comfort can be adjusted to the individual rider’s weight with the elastomers of varying hardness levels. Unlike its predecessor, this model has a two-part construction that allows for a tool-free and fast replacement. The saddle mount was also redesigned so that the clamp is secured onto the side, making it easier to install the saddle. An additional locking screw secures the set saddle tilt.

In the ST version (Short Travel), the travel is shorter than in the more comfort-oriented Thudbuster LT (prod. code: 1662640101). Depending on your needs, you can either choose the ST model for athletic comfort or the Thudbuster LT with more travel and longer progression lines, for a softer cushioning.
